I have to admit I used to HATE pants. A big part of the reason was that I hadn't found any that really worked for my body type. Part of this job involves trying on all.of.the.things. - a byproduct of which has been that I've found pants that I love (the Avery pant and Nakamura trouser, to name a few). Finding pants that work for me has opened up a whole new world of outfit combos. One of my favorites lately is a pair of high-waisted pants with a shirt tucked in. I love the combo even more in chic black and white. Some of my favorite inspiration looks below.
How to re-create this look: Take a pair of high-waisted trousers or jeans, pair with a crisp or silk white shirt, and tuck in. Alternatively, try a cropped white shirt to avoid having to tuck. Some of my favorite options at both a splurge and save level are below.
